Graeme's Cairn

2 years ago we lost a very dear friend of the race in a tragic accident doing what he loved doing - walking in the hills with his dog. Graeme marshalled at the summit for a number of years and it was one of the highlights of his year to cheer on the runners.

We're building a cairn in his memory at the top and we're asking any runners that have an abundance of energy to carry a small pebble on their journey on this special day and hand it over to the marshals at the top.

On race day May 3rd, there'll be a sign and a bucket of small pebbles where runners can pick one up.
